37-year-old Diomet Musa, the suspected perpetrator of the injury of 52-year-old businessman Arben Çipa alias Sotir Çipa, Chairman of the Association of Tour Operators, has been released by the court less than 48 hours after his arrest.

Diomet Musa, a person with a previous criminal record, appeared in court to receive an arrest warrant at 2:00 p.m. He is suspected of the criminal offense of "intentional serious injury" in collaboration with the beating of businessman Arben Cipa with punches, kicks and hard objects, at around 4:10 p.m. on Friday.

After the incident, Musa hid in an apartment in Lukovë, where he was caught by police in the evening, while his 29-year-old cousin Markelian Musa remains wanted.

Top Channel correspondent Kristina Fidhi said that Prosecutor Besiana Sadikaj has requested the legal qualification of the arrest in flagrante delicto of 37-year-old Diomet Musa, but his release and the assignment of the security measure "House arrest", for the criminal offense of "intentional serious injury", committed in collaboration.

It is not yet known how this security measure was motivated by the Prosecution. On the other hand, Judge Esmeralda Shehu has decided on the measure "House arrest", ordering that the suspect not leave his apartment located in neighborhood no. 3 of Saranda.

Cipa itself has previously requested state intervention today as Saranda is being controlled by the "untouchables" and the "strong" who are at the center of property conflicts but also other threats against citizens.
