New details are being learned regarding the robbery that occurred this morning at a bank in the capital.

The perpetrator followed an elderly man and headed towards the bank to deposit money.

He followed her into the institution and threatened her with a weapon and robbed her of money that she was about to hand over to the cashier. The robber managed to steal an amount of approximately 15 thousand euros from the second-tier bank, where he was masked and wearing a helmet, and after the robbery he left on a motorcycle.

Police have set up several checkpoints and are working to identify and arrest the perpetrator.
