After the mother passed away due to asphyxiation, her children are also in serious health conditions.

The children, aged 14 and 16, were urgently transported to Korça Hospital. 

According to sources, they had suffered burns to their bodies.

Police announcement:

At around 13:30, in block no. 3, Maliq, a fire broke out in the apartment of citizen VA.

As a result, citizen MA and her two minor children, 14 and 6 years old, were injured and immediately sent to the hospital for medical assistance.

It is suspected that citizen MA died in the hospital as a result of asphyxia.

Police and fire services were able to extinguish the fire.

The investigation team is at the scene and is working to determine the causes of the fire and legally document the case.
