Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha denounced former mayor Vangjush Dako today through a photograph, claiming that he was in privileged conditions in prison.

"Greetings Dr. Vangjush Dako together with drug dealer Ron Shqopa in the cell and with a cell phone in hand!", Berisha wrote in the post that made the rounds in several online media.

But the General Directorate of Prisons, in a response to Top News today, confirmed that the photo was not taken in any of the prison facilities in the country.

The photo was then deleted from Berisha's social media profile, while the DP told the media that it was the mistake of a member of Berisha's social media management staff, who had made the mistake of posting the photo without verifying it.
