The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has intensified his criticism of SPAK regarding the investigations into Belinda Balluku. Bardhi says that the prosecution has not yet sent the request to the Parliament to lift the immunity of the former Deputy Prime Minister.
He emphasized that the imposition of seizure on assets must be accompanied by further procedural actions.
In a reaction on social media, Bardhi described the situation as "bad news", stating that, according to him, "SPAK has lost".
"Someone should remind him that he has not yet brought to Parliament the request to lift the immunity for the arrest of Belinda Balluku, even though he himself has announced the seizure of a second hidden villa and new charges of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets ," writes Bardhi.
The head of the DP Parliamentary Group criticizes the Special Prosecution Office for the way it is acting regarding the case.
"Someone should also remind them that SPAK's duty is to implement the law, not to wait for Edi Rama to solve major political problems ," says Bardhi.
