The suspected author of the murder of a 50-year-old man today in the premises of the "Castle" bar in the village of Nroq has been identified.
It is learned that he is 26-year-old Julian Gjoshi with previous criminal records. Gjoshi is the brother-in-law of Altin Hajri, a well-known name in the world of crime, also known for his relationship with former MP Jurgis Çyrbja.
According to preliminary evidence, Gjoshi approached citizen Alfred Dedja on foot and shot him with a firearm, leaving him dead on the spot. Then he left in a black "Benz" car.
One of the tracks that the police is investigating is that of breaking up drug deals.
Julian Gjoshi was arrested in 2021 in Tirana, after being caught with a firearm without a permit. The police found a "Beretta" pistol and 10 cartridges in his car. He is a repeat offender in this crime, as he was previously convicted of illegal possession of weapons.
