Meteorologist Hakil Osmani has spoken to the media about the snowfall that has covered the southeast of the country and showed the weather situation that we expect to have during December.

He said that during December the weather will be colder than in the ninth period of the previous year, but the atmospheric conditions will be mixed sometimes with cold days and sometimes warmer ones.

"This winter is expected to be colder than the one we left behind, while December will be cooler than last year, but from time to time we will have days with high temperatures, but of course we will also have patches of winter, where in the lowlands we will have rain while in the mountainous areas snow. The snow will not come to the capital, but at most to the mountain of Dajti", said Hakil Osmani.

He explained that after the rains of the last few days, the atmospheric situation will improve this coming Monday.

"In fact, December has started with its climatic features, with typical temperatures, causing that in the mountainous areas we have temperatures from -2 °C to -3 °C, while the maximum is expected to be no more than 15 °C until 16 °C. The snowfall has also started since Friday and is present in all the eastern areas from Kukësi, Peshkopia to Korçë where in the afternoon hours of Sunday we will have some improvement which will continue during Monday and on Tuesday, putting an end to the rains", Osmani said.
