Artan Hoxha has spoken about the death of 32-year-old Lear Kurti, who died in police station no. 3 in Tirana after being escorted by the police.  

Invited to the show "Te Paespozuarit", Hoxha raised doubts about the police's version that he swallowed the bag of drugs, saying that in the late hours of the night, he could throw the bag away without being caught. 

Hoxha also raised doubts about the way the victim was taken to the hospital and the fact that there was a considerable time between the moment of the arrest and the taking to the police station. 

He stated that the incident needs investigation, but that the police cannot do this investigation. 

"In the first moment, it was said that the death was caused by epilepsy. Death does not come from epilepsy. The forensic report has not been released because there is not enough time.

The patrol says we saw a person and asked for ID, then they ran after him. When they caught him, they claim he swallowed a dose of cocaine. Police say they found 5x5 plastic bags. The doses are 0.3 grams and 0.6 grams. I asked the toxicologists, how much does it take to kill a person? They said, if he took a bag and got a tear in his stomach, it is very dangerous and he will lose my life.
