Businessman Ergys Agasi was arrested this evening in Elbasan, after several months of being sought by Albanian authorities.

Agasi was wanted by SPAK for the AKSHI file.

In December 2025, the GJKKO had imposed the security measure "prison arrest" on Ergys Agas.

The SPAK investigation into the AKSHI file is related to suspicions of manipulation of public tenders, illegal competition, corruption and the activities of a structured criminal group. In the same file, security measures have also been taken against AKSHI officials and other businessmen.

According to data made public during the investigation, Agasi is suspected by SPAK of playing an important role in the scheme related to AKSHI tenders, while charges have been brought against him that include illegal competition, illegal deprivation of liberty, corruption and laundering of the proceeds of crime.
