"Hello Police, Dad Killed Mom" - Serious Crime in Greece

A 53-year-old Albanian man has stabbed his wife to death in Greece.

The serious incident occurred in the Rhodopes area, where a couple of Albanian origin, parents of three children, were involved in a violent conflict inside their apartment.

According to preliminary information made public, the argument between the spouses escalated, ending in tragedy.

What makes the incident even more shocking is the fact that the conflict allegedly occurred in the presence of the couple's children, who witnessed their father killing their mother.

In the first moments after the event, the eldest daughter of the family was the one who notified the Greek authorities, requesting police intervention after what had happened in the apartment.

After the alarm, police forces and emergency teams arrived at the scene, while the woman was urgently transported to the hospital.

Despite medical intervention and efforts to save her life, the woman was unable to survive her injuries and passed away.

The couple reportedly had three children, two of them adults and one minor, 16 years old.

The incident in Rhodope comes just a few days after the double crime that shocked Athens, where Albanian Altin Allmuça shot and killed 45-year-old Albanian Julieta Obzova and then committed suicide.

In this case, Greek media have reported that investigations have brought to light a history of previous conflicts and threats between the two individuals.
