Strategic investment in defense - Minister Nufi presents "Guna

Through a publication on his social network, the Minister of Defense Mr. Ermal Nufi has shared views from the work site at the "Guna Tactical" company, where one of the most important public-private partnership investments in the Albanian defense industry is being built.

"The Prime Minister posted the "Guna Tactical" shipyard yesterday in the summary of the activity in Pogradec. "Guna Tactical" will produce military clothing not only for Albania, but also for the region and other countries" - said Minister Nufi in his video message.

According to Minister Nufi, over 290 people work in this industry today, stating that their number will exceed 1,000 once the shipyard is fully operational.

Among other things, Minister Nufi emphasizes the employment of people in this industry: "We are proud of the fact that this industry not only generates income, but also employs people and impacts the community every day."

"Guna Tactical" was created as a joint venture between the state-owned enterprise KAYO and the private company MSSC.

The focus of its activity is the design, production, marketing and export of military uniforms and accessories, mainly for the Armed Forces, other security structures, countries in the region and NATO allies.
