After 6 days from the arrest of 2 Russians and Ukrainians during the attempt to forcibly enter the military plant in Gramsci, the first reactions have come from the Russian side.
The TASS news agency writes that the Russian ambassador to Albania, Mikhail Afanasyev, considers this issue political.
" It is shameful, since the results of the investigation, the conclusions of the prosecutor's office have not yet come out, the event is considered an act of espionage and the participants in the incident are called 'agents of Russia' and the harshest punishment is required for them ," he said according to TASS.
Afanasyev, according to TASS, accuses the Albanian authorities of not respecting the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, claiming that they informed him about the detention of Russian citizens.
