The Court of Appeal has acquitted 35-year-old Marcel Busho, who was sentenced by the Court of Lezha to 5 years in prison as the cause of a serious accident in which two young people lost their lives.

The accident happened on August 20, 2022 at around 2:30 in the vicinity of Rubik, where the vehicle collided with the metal barrier. Denis Gjeta, 30, and Marius Çeça, 31, both residents of Tirana, lost their lives in the accident.

They were traveling as passengers in the car driven by 35-year-old Marcel Busho.

The cause of the accident was suspected to be the loss of control of the vehicle by the 35-year-old Busho.
