On the eve of the new year, the United States Embassy in Tirana has conveyed a message of congratulations and reflection, highlighting the main achievements and expectations for the future of relations between the two countries.

In its post, the Embassy emphasizes that the year that is ending has marked important moments in bilateral cooperation, including the historic visit of the American military ship USS Mount Whitney to the coast of Albania.

"As the year draws to a close, we want to celebrate our greatest achievements and all the excitement for what is to come in 2026! From the historic visit of the USS Mount Whitney to the shores of Albania, to the United States hosting the largest international sporting events in the world, our partnership continues to strengthen through shared goals and values. Happy New Year from the United States Embassy in Tirana!", reads the US embassy's greeting.
