Koço Qëndro, the famous actor of the Korça theater "Andon Zako Cajupi", just a week before leaving this life, left a bequest to one of his sons that his body not be taken for homage to the theater lobby, a bequest which the three sons were obliged to keep.
In this theater, actor Koço Qendro spent most of his life as an actor, bringing to this stage numerous roles, including his leading role Harpagon in the comedy Kopraci, a role which he has brought back to this stage and not only once more at the age of 93.
Qëndro has not revealed the reasons that led him to this latest bequest, but based on what Qëndro has given in his interviews for various media, this bequest is thought to have come about due to the lack of appreciation for the 99-year-old actor with a different pension than the usual one.
Korça will bid the famous actor his final farewell at one of the city's funeral agencies.
