New details are revealed from the crime within the family that happened in Italy, where an Albanian killed his wife with a knife and escaped. Avni Meçje shot the Romanian woman he was married to, Alexandra Elena Mocanu was 35 years old, several times with a knife, leaving her dead.

He called his brother telling him about the crime and that he was running towards Albania to escape the police. Then it was the author's brother who informed the police about the incident.

When the police went to the apartment, they found the woman covered with a blanket. The victim worked as a bartender in a restaurant. The couple had several years of marriage that ended in tragedy for the Romanian.

He left in Alexandra's car, taking the woman's phone with him. An escape to the south, towards Verona, where Mecja has relatives. And it was to these family members that he allegedly told them that he was on the run and wanted.

Those worried would then contact the police force, expressing their fear and asking for checks to be made in the apartment where the couple lived.

In addition, the man wrote messages on social networks asking for forgiveness. An investigative hypothesis is that the man (pictured here with the victim) left Bolzano with his wife's car and phone and may have headed for Albania.

Scientific experts and prosecutor Claudia Andres, who coordinates the investigations, also intervened in the Viale Trieste apartment.
