ALARM/ Five dead from accidents at work in one month!

At a construction site in Tirana, the next tragedy occurred today, when a 28-year-old man lost his life after falling from a considerable height.

This time too, the cause of the accident at work is suspected to be non-compliance with technical safety conditions at work, as the Labor Inspectorate continues to be in hibernation.

KSSH (Confederation of Trade Unions of Albania) in a press release expresses its condolences to the family and demands a full explanation of the incident.

This is the fifth accident at work with victims for this month.

On May 21, miner Armand Peshku lost his life in the Martaneshin mine, and on May 21 in a quarry in Vlorë, worker Jurgen Veshaj lost his life.

On May 9 in Shengjin, the construction worker Emiljano Frroku lost his life after falling from a height, while two days later in Shengjin, the construction worker Dede Gjoni lost his life at work.

These figures are dramatic for a small country like Albania, so the institutions should not remain indifferent.
