The General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, in a joint conference with the Minister of the Interior, spoke about the tensions in the MEK camp. He stated that the action took place after the order of the prosecution. Rrumbullaku said that the police remained a victim in this action, while emphasizing that server rooms were found in 17 facilities.

"After receiving the notification and the order of the prosecutor's office to allow the control in the premises of the MEK, I sent an official letter to all the officials of the MEK for a meeting at 08:00. We called for a meeting and the 6 leaders of the camp answered us in the meeting. For an hour we discussed the purpose that was motivated in the court's decision. We found their understanding for the first moments. We were addressed at the entrance of the camp, where we also asked for the gates to be opened.

It has strict measures, it is totally Albanian territory and is not their property. We have entered that territory. After the control phase started for about 2 hours, due to the large number of facilities, we found illegality in relation to the requirements of the court decision, we identified server rooms in 17 facilities, where the resistance also started.

They requested not to allow the execution of the court's decision. The police exercised extreme restraint and in no case was violence used by the police. We did not find their understanding and then they started the procedures to remove the crowds. From all this confrontation, the police remained a victim. We only used spray. We have been damaged. 15 police officers and several police vehicles were injured. On their part, 21 have been sent to the hospital and 15 have left the health centers", said Rrumbullaku.

Asked why no arrests were made after the clashes in Manzë, Rrumbullaku stated that the people who committed violence have been identified. Rrumbullaku emphasized that since the Police started the control exercise, everything has been mounted with cameras and drones.

"We have identified all the people involved, against the footage, all the violence has been monitored by aerial drones, measures of prohibition will be issued as well as for the leaders who have not cooperated in this matter."

He also mentioned documents that were found in the camp, which will be subject to an expertise by the Prosecutor's Office.

"During the entire police action, actions by specific individuals to remove what they are interested in were found, they are documents in their language that are being subjected to a detailed expertise by the prosecutors. I can explain to you and then, with the authorization of the Prosecutor, I will bring you the film footage, regarding their violent revolt, you will see it with your own eyes, I repeat, the Police did not use violence, only a sprite and opening the way for movement of police vehicles. The State Police has a number of structures that have responsibility for certain areas, the criminal proceedings that came out with a court decision do not need interpretation on my part."

Rrumbullaku said, among other things, that the attacks by MEK members were organized.

"The resistance started when the police found illegality related to the potato servers and this was organized, we are dealing with a community of 2500 inhabitants."
