The Head of the Trauma Hospital, Agustin Suma, has given a statement to the media regarding the health condition of the people injured in the serious accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon on the Durrës-Tirana highway.

According to him, currently 5 patients are undergoing surgical interventions, while 2 of them are foreign citizens and are in serious health condition.

"Currently, 5 patients are undergoing surgical interventions. Two of them are foreign citizens and are in serious health condition.

"Five other patients are in stable condition and, according to the medical team, do not pose a threat to life," he said.

He added that two minors were among the injured.

" We also have two minors. One is in a stable condition, while the other is undergoing surgery," stated the head of the Trauma Hospital.
