Has Ervis Martinaj been killed? The head of the Tirana Police speaks
Ervis Martinaj

The head of the Tirana Police, Tonin Vocaj, invited this evening to "Top Story" with Grida Duma, said that serious criminal events in our country are detected in 85 to 90%, adding that it is impossible that to be detected at 100%.

He added that as the date of the event passes, the probability of finding evidence decreases.

Asked by Grida Duma regarding the case of the much-wanted and declared missing, Ervis Martinaj, if he is alive or not, also referring to the deadline that Prime Minister Edi Rama gave the police for solving this case, he said:

"For Martinaj, there is a special group in the police that is following this case. There has been information and leads that are being investigated.

Police will inform the public as soon as they have results. But it is not possible to ask the Police and the Prosecutor's Office that 100% of all serious incidents must be disclosed, but it should be closer to 90%. In our country, 85 to 90% are detected. But the more you move away from the day of the event, the probability of securing evidence decreases."
