A fatal accident this Wednesday evening in Fier, in the place called "Crossroads of Grecallia".

Police say a 50-year-old pedestrian was hit by an SUV driven by a 20-year-old.

The 50-year-old was transported to the regional hospital of Fier, where he died a short time later.

"Around 9:30 p.m., at the place called "Grecallija Crossroads", Fier, citizen BH, 20 years old, driving a "Range Rover" type vehicle, had an accident with the pedestrian, citizen D. Gj., about 50 years old. As a result of the accident, citizen D. Gj died in the hospital. The driver of the vehicle, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been accompanied to the police station by the police for further action ," said the Fier police.

The police and the investigative team are at the scene to clarify the dynamics of the accident in question.
