At least 12 people have been killed and 309 others injured in Saturday's attack at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the victims included four Saudi nationals, two people from Bangladesh and one each from the US, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Egypt.

The authority added that some of the wounded were in critical condition. Later, a Saudi-led military coalition vowed to respond to the attack, which it described as a "war crime" and blamed on Yemen's Houthi rebels.

This is the deadliest attack in Saudi Arabia since May 2015.
