New details have become part of the investigation into the death of Greek singer Giorgos Mazonakis, who lost his life during a plasmapheresis treatment at a clinic on Karneadou Street.

A nurse and 56-year-old hypnotherapist Nasos Komianos testified before the 42nd regular investigators. The nurse stated that she arrived at the clinic at around 3:00 PM and that Mazonakis was there. She explained that in her first testimony she had given 3:30 PM as the time of the singer's arrival, as this was the time that the doctor had communicated to her.

According to her, everything was fine until around 4:00 p.m. Then two phone calls were made, one to the anesthesiologist and the other to the person who had supplied the clinic with the defibrillator. The nurse said that the device was not working and that it was explained to her that it needed to be charged.

She also stated that she did not know that the clinic's equipment might be illegal and that she was not aware of the existence of a specific treatment protocol. According to her, the instructions were given by the doctor.

Hypnotherapist Nasos Komianos also testified at the investigation. He said he was first contacted by a manager on August 27th for a meeting with Mazonakis. According to his testimony, the meeting was initially scheduled for September 8th, but was later moved to September 7th at a restaurant in Psikiko.

Komianos stated that after the meeting, the doctor had communicated with Mazonakis regarding payment and treatments. The testimonies of both persons have been included in the investigation materials, while the authorities are continuing verifications to clarify the circumstances of the singer's death.
