Striker Armando Broja caused great concern yesterday evening (Sunday, November 16), after he suffered an injury and left the field prematurely in the match between Albania and England.
As the match at "Air Albania" was coming to an end, with the visitors winning 2-0, Broja, who had only been in the game for a few minutes, was forced to leave injured by what appeared to be a serious blow to the ankle.
After the match, his friend and national team colleague Kristjan Asllani spoke about his condition. He revealed that Broja had suffered a blow to his ankle and that the first tests were being carried out immediately after the match.
According to Asllani, the team doctor announced that fortunately it was not a serious injury, as there was no swelling of the ankle.
In such a case, the worst-case scenario for the striker could be an absence of 2 to 4 weeks away from the pitch.
However, the final medical expertise is still awaited, which will be announced today (Monday, November 17) to determine the exact recovery time.
