Valiev falls in the final, silver medal for Albania in the Wrestling World Cup

Chermen Valiev

Chermen Valiev has won the silver medal at the World Wrestling Championships taking place in Croatia.

He was defeated only in the final against the Japanese Takahashi, who won with a score of 8-2, in the 74 kg weight category.

Despite the loss in the final, it can be called a successful journey for Albania, as it brings a medal.

Valiev qualified for the final the day before, after successfully overcoming Russian Sidakov in the semifinals with a score of 6-4.

In the final, he failed to repeat the same performance, but the silver medal remains a valuable achievement.

It is worth noting that Valiev gave Albania its first Olympic medal in history.

He continues to remain one of Albania's most important athletes.
