Former Chelsea star Armando Broja has sparked concerns for his wellbeing after he was seen crying amid his country's biggest footballing success.
The Burnley striker helped Albania win 1-0 in Andorra on Thursday, securing their place in the World Cup play-offs, writes British newspaper The Sun , which has dedicated an article to the Albanian striker who is apparently not having a good period.
"Albania, who host eventual winners England in their final Group K match on Sunday, have never reached the finals of a World Cup. Slough-born Broja started the match but was substituted before the final hour, with the match goalless. It took a 67th-minute goal from Torino's Kristjan Asllani to break down the resistance of tiny Andorra," writes The Sun.
Broja, 26, then appeared tearful and distraught on the bench and as he left the pitch at the end of the match. Teammate Elseid Hysaj put a comforting arm around the striker's shoulders as they left the pitch.
And Broja was the only Albania player who did not join the team's post-match celebrations with the president of the National Football Federation, Armando Duka.
The association's vice president, Lutfi Nuri, also tried to console Broja before photos of the celebration were taken, the British newspaper's article continues.
Burnley paid Chelsea £20m for the striker this summer, but he is yet to score in seven appearances for the Clarets.
