The race for the Albanian midfielder of Switzerland, Ardon Jashari, is coming to an end and he himself has made it clear that his desire is only one: AC Milan.
Despite recent efforts by big European clubs such as Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen, the 23-year-old player has rejected them, emphasizing that the reds and blacks are the only and final choice.
According to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan has issued an internal ultimatum to close the transfer issue, while relations with Club Brugge - Jashari's current club - remain tense and without progress on the offer.
Meanwhile, well-known journalist Sacha Tavolieri from Sky Sport Switzerland has revealed: "In recent days, Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen tried to make moves for Ardon Jashari. Chelsea is preparing an offer for Club Brugge, while Bayer saw him as a replacement for Granit Xhaka. But Jashari's answer was firm: 'My only and final choice is... AND Milan!'"
Recall that earlier, Jashari also rejected clubs such as Nottingham Forest and Borussia Dortmund, showing his determination to play for the club he has loved since childhood.
However, every day that passes makes it harder and harder to realize his dream. Milan does not seem willing to improve on the current offer, and if something does not change in the coming days, the transfer could fail.
