Italian police confuse Milan player with armed fugitive (Video)

He was declared champion with Milan just a few weeks ago, but not everyone knows him in Italy. Tiemoue Bakayoko was stopped by Italian police near Comos and it was not a routine search.

In a video filmed by witnesses to the event, a police officer exercises body control over the player, while his colleague holds the pistol directed at the passenger accompanying him in the car.

The player was travelling in his BMWX6 car, where police had been signalled to be travelling armed, who had earlier exchanged gunfire with a rival group.

After verification, the police released the player with a beating on his shoulder, as if to apologise.
