After long negotiations, Ardon Jashari and Milan have met on the same side of history. The Albanian-Swiss midfielder has already made his debut in a friendly, but has always wanted to wear the red and black jersey.

The club officially introduced him to the media today: "Playing for this club brings incredible pressure, but it's normal to be like this. I will work hard to repay the trust. De Ketelaere? The only thing we have in common is the club we come from."

"Coach Yakin said I have great determination? I learned from Xhaka. We Swiss-Albanians have the will to win in our blood, we have the fire inside, that determination that can make the difference in achieving a result."

Red after long negotiations: "Everyone knows that it has been a long 'soap opera', but from the first contacts with Igli Tare, my will to take this step became clear. I knew that it would be a difficult negotiation, as I was important to Brugge and they would not release me easily. Tare made me understand that he would try everything to bring me to Milan. I was also very determined, as I had given my word to Tare and Ibrahimovic."

Impressions of the red and black club: "I've been here for a short time, but from day one it gave me the feeling of the right balance between professionalism on and off the pitch. There is harmony in the dressing room, but then on the pitch everyone knows that only victory matters."

His debut in Dublin left an impression on coach Allegri: "I thank him publicly for those words. It wasn't easy, because I hadn't played a match for two months, but on the pitch I felt free to play my game and build good moves, even though after only two days here it wasn't easy."

Since childhood, a Milan fan, very impressed by Pirlo: "I have always said that I followed Pirlo with attention. We also have a similar story, because I, too, at the beginning of my career, played as a three-quarter player, now I have a deeper position. Of course, I can't make other comparisons, but Pirlo has been a great inspiration for my style of play."

In midfield, Jashari will play with Luka Modric, winner of the "Golden Ball": "Everyone knows how many champions have worn this jersey throughout the club's history. It's extraordinary to play with a player with such experience and it definitely helps you. I will try to enjoy this experience by growing up next to him."

He is eagerly awaiting his debut at "San Siro" with the Milan jersey: "When I was little I came to this stadium several times. I always dreamed of becoming a professional, I grew up cheering for Milan. Wearing this jersey is extraordinary, I don't know how to find the right words."

In Allegri's tactical context, he can play in several positions: "The coach will decide how and where to activate me. In modern football, especially in midfield, there are many rotations and you have to adapt to different situations. For my part, there is no problem, I have played as a director and a playmaker, I know what to do in different positions. I think I will help the team in both phases, contributing to the construction and defense with my determination. Not conceding goals is a priority. I have also learned a lot from Xhaka in the national team. We have a common origin and we have grown up with this passion to always give the maximum."

On the possibility of moving to Inter and the importance of the derby: "I have always wanted to come to Milan and as soon as the opportunity arose, I did not want to listen to any other club. Even if there were other Italian teams interested, my choice would not change. I know how important the derby is, but we have to take this team to where it belongs."

Italian football is known for its tactical aspect, especially in midfield: "Of course, it's a different level of play, more physical than in Belgium, although football is growing a lot there. Playing in Serie A is another dream of mine, which is coming true. I've always wanted to do this with a Milan shirt and I can't wait to see the level of the championship. Of course, I'll experience different emotions compared to Belgium or Switzerland."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic also played an important role in his arrival at Milan: "It was a wonderful negotiation for me with Milan, because I have always been treated very well. With Ibra I talked about Milan, the expectations and the fans. During these weeks of waiting, Tare and Ibra gave me confidence that in the end the deal would be realized. I felt their trust from the beginning."
