Napoli returns to victory, defeats Fiorentina

Napoli returned to victory in Serie A, defeating Fiorentina 2-1 at the "Diego Armando Maradona".

Antonio Vergara scored his first goal in the Italian top flight, giving the home team the lead in the 11th minute.

Napoli had other chances to double their lead in the first half, but Fiorentina's defence and goalkeeper De Gea prevented a second goal. Fiorentina also looked dangerous, but Alex Meret proved decisive in several tackles.

In the second half, Miguel Gutierrez scored Napoli's second goal. Fiorentina reacted quickly and reduced the gap with Manor Solomon.

In the end, Napoli managed to hold on to the advantage and secured the three points. With this victory, Napoli climbs to third place, while Fiorentina remains close to the danger zone.
