LeBron James is officially a billionaire. The Los Angeles Lakers star is worth $ 1 billion according to Forbes magazine, making him the first basketball player to continue playing for the rich club.

The only other person coming from the basketball world who has achieved this is Jordan, who won the title 11 years ago, when his shares in the Charlotte Hornets rose to 89.5% in 2014.

Over the course of his 19-year career, James earned € 385 million, but he accumulated most of his fortune off the floor, making some hit investments in the business in recent years.

The investments helped him increase his net worth to $ 1 billion. James had expressed a desire to become a billionaire in 2014 and finally achieved it.
