Italian-Albanian skier Lara Colturi, who represents Albania, has excelled again in the Ski World Cup, climbing to the podium for the fourth time in her career.
In the second race of the season, held at the Levi track in Finland, the 19-year-old secured second place in the Slalom discipline, with a total time of 1:50.58, just 1.66 seconds behind the winner, American champion Mikaela Shiffrin.
Colturi started the race at a high pace, coming in second in the first run, 1.08 seconds behind Shiffrin. In the second run she recorded the third-fastest time, just 0.58 seconds behind the American.

Despite Slalom not being her main specialty, Lara Colturi achieved an excellent result, placing second in the final classification.
This performance comes just three weeks after her seventh-place finish in Sölden, Austria, and coincides with her 19th birthday, making this day even more special for the talented skier who continues to make her name on the world alpine skiing scene.

Lara Colturi, with this second place in the Slalom race, received 80 points, bringing her total to 116 points after the first two World Cup races and sees herself in third place in the overall standings, behind Mikaela Shiffrin and Paula Moltzan.
Next week Lara Colturi will be on the Gurgl track in Austria, in the Slalom discipline.
