Juve-Salernitana causes "earthquakes" even outside Italy

The chaotic end of Juventus-Salernitana, with the white-and-white's 3-2 goal scored by Milik, canceled for offside by VAR, caused many discussions even outside Italy.

The reason, precisely an alleged active offside position of the Juventus captain, was highlighted after the VAR check, which however was clearly wrong.

In a wide field of view, unscrutinized by the electronic eye, Antonio Candreva's position practically on the end line of the field kept Bonucci completely in the game.

"Marca" does not mince words and talks about "scandal", referring especially to Candreva's position, which would have kept Bonucci in the game and which was not appreciated during the review of the footage with technology.

FootMercato instead focuses on mocking the former Marseille striker, who was sent off for removing his shirt while celebrating the disallowed goal. Still, it was a worthwhile goal.

"RMC Sport" also talks about a "big mistake", adding that Allegri's team is "trying to rise". We close with "Bild", which writes: "Crazy time in Turin. Penalty, disallowed goal and four red cards".

From the "Sky" studios, Fabio Caressa commented harshly and sharply on the decisions made by the VAR referee in the case of the match between Juventus and Salernitana, which led to the cancellation of Milik's goal, despite the ineffectiveness of Bonucci's position (held in also played by Candreva):

"These are sensational images, because Candreva kept Bonucci in the game for half a meter. Ours is not the official VAR, but we are talking about 50 centimeters here. This means that this is the most prominent error since VAR came into operation".
