The Champions League group draw was thrown in Montecarlo today.

In the Champions League draw, the 36 finalist teams were divided into four pots with 9 teams each, classified based on the UEFA club rankings, except Real Madrid. The champions of Spain are the defending champions and were in the first pot.

Given that there are many competitions and the calendar is tight, UEFA will communicate on Saturday in a final way.

The top eight teams will qualify directly for the next Champions League stage, that is, in the 1/8th. From 9th to 24th place we will have the play off to qualify the other 8 teams. Teams ranked 25th to last are eliminated.
