Conference League Final, Capello: Mourinho is the master
Fabio Capello

"The Roma I saw against Torino seemed to me to be very focused, they interpreted the game correctly. He passed this test, but now we are on the international stage and we need something more ", this is how Fabio Capello started his statement, on the eve of the Conference League final that Roma will play against Feyenoord in" Air Albania "tonight , starting at 21:00.

The former yellow and red coach is the last to give Rome a trophy in Serie A, while he did not hesitate to appreciate the work of Jose Mourinho.

Assessment for Mourinho: "Jose is a master at dealing with situations like this. He will need to keep his attention up and his blood pressure low. Mourinho's experience is a guarantee: he faces the fifth European final. In competitions of this level a lot of responsibility is felt. "A team like Real is used to facing them, while Roma have not lived these dimensions for 31 years."

Importance of the Conference League: “We start from the consideration that it is a European cup and therefore it has its importance. Winning it is not like walking in the park. Even Rome, with the blow it received in Norway, had to change its mind. From that day he changed pace and deserved the final. "It eliminated Leicester, an English club that approached the Champions League a year ago and won the FA Cup."

Rome, 14 years without trophies: “Starting to win is part of a growth process. This is a European final and it is important for Rome. If you want to get into the circle of clubs of international value, you have to put something in the palm of your trophies. "The Conference League is an opportunity not to be missed."

Mourinho's influence: "At first he had to get to know the group he was going to work with, get to know the environment and perceive how far he could go. "After clarifying these points, the identity of the game, the continuity and the results were logical consequences."
