A sensational move in Turkey! Mohamed Salah is expected to continue his career in Turkey, after reaching an agreement with Trabzonspor, where Ernest Muçi also plays, for the 2026-27 season.

The Turkish club's offer includes a two-year contract, while Salah will receive a salary of around 17 million euros for this period and 20 percent of his image rights.

The news comes just weeks after Salah ended his Liverpool adventure. The striker left Anfield after a tumultuous season, with his relationship with then-manager Arne Slott described as strained and influencing his decision to leave.

After the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup with Egypt, Salah had begun talks with several clubs to decide his next destination.

It was initially reported that he had a verbal agreement with Besiktas, but recent developments indicate that the race has been won by Trabzonspor.

If the transfer is made official, it will be one of the biggest coups in the history of the Turkish club, which secures the services of one of the best footballers of the last decade, while Trabzonspor wants to break Galatasaray's dominance in the Turkish league.
