Arbër Hoxha: We accept defeat with Latvia, but not with Serbia

With three days left until the match against Serbia, at the regular press conference of the red and black national team, goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha and striker Arbër Hoxha expressed their confidence in a victory and the continuation of the dream of qualifying for the World Cup.

Despite acknowledging that the opponent has quality in the group of players and the match will be difficult, Hoxha emphasized that the red and black boys are preparing maximally to get the three points.

"It will be a difficult match, so we know that the opponent has a lot of quality in the group. We will give our maximum, we are preparing the match very well and I believe that we will win the match. This match is difficult and I believe that it decides the play-offs of the World Cup. I believe that we will win the match and have hope of qualifying for the World Cup," he declared.

Since he is a Kosovo Albanian, Arbër Hoxha was asked if the red and black boys originating from other Albanian regions have a high emotional load before this challenge.

"Not because we are professionals. We will do it our way on the field. It is normal that it is an emotional match, but we are professionals and we will do it on the field," said the striker.
