At the start of today's episode of the "Flasim" podcast, Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a reflection on two points in Albania: Malësia e Madhe and Përmet.

He pointed out the change that has affected these two countries over the past 10 years, once as two countries that were of no interest to anyone, and today as the face of a new Albania. At this point, he added that this Albania was built with hard work, despite the protests on the prime minister's boulevard that say the opposite.

"Preparing a few minutes ago this episode, which is the fifth of the seventh season of the podcast 'Flasim', I was thinking that once upon a time, but not 100 years ago, 10 years ago, both Malësia e Madhe and Përmet were among those points on the map of Albania that seemed very far away and from the other side, where it seemed far away, without going, that there was no reason to go. I also remembered that at the time when I was not yet in this position and because of the position I had before, I had to travel around Albania. Both Malësia and Përmet seemed like hopeless places, whoever was there was simply still there, but the next day would no longer be there. Whoever came, came either because they had family there to see or because in the most common case a wedding or far away, a vaki.

"Today there are two destinations of the new Albania, the other Albania that we have built with great effort, while from the boulevard of Tirana much is covered with the artificial clouds of social channels and screens," said Rama.
