The SP MP for Berat, Fadil Nasufi, spoke about the new territorial division.

During his speech in the Assembly, he expressed some dissatisfaction with this division, although he added that he would vote for it.

"As a member of parliament for the Berat district, I have followed the reactions, rejections, and opposing arguments of the Dimal and Poliçan municipalities that are joining Berat.

I was really expecting a territorial map that brings the organization of local government to the borders of metropolitan municipalities or former districts. I agree with the residents of Dimal.

I don't see why Dimali should merge with Berat, but why don't other municipalities of a typology, perhaps even lower than Dimali, such as Roskovec, Kuçova, Delvina, etc., also merge.

"However, I vote for this draft, even though I feel a bitter taste and disappointment from many residents who do not agree with this administrative map," said Nasufi.
