In his speech during the EU-Western Balkans Investment Forum taking place in Tirana, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the region has the potential to become the "laboratory of Europe", where the future of the continent can be tested and built.
“This is not a coincidence, but a new horizon. A place where European investments find new opportunities and where ideas can become reality faster than anywhere else on the continent,” Rama said. He stressed that resistance and commitment to European values ??should not remain slogans, but be translated into daily action.
According to him, the Western Balkans can serve as a space where the European Union and its region "meet not to talk about the future, but to make the future a reality."
The Prime Minister underlined that Europe no longer has the luxury of depending on factors it does not control, while the Balkan countries should not remain just with potential, but transform it into a concrete goal.
"It is time to turn this region into Europe's transformation zone," Rama concluded, inviting European investors and partners to see the Balkans as a new terrain for development and innovation.
