Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has accused the head of government, Edi Rama, of buying a new armored Benz.
"He bought two Benzes and another car that the party bought for 500 thousand euros," Berisha said.
He urged citizens to protest, emphasizing that "the files have become as big as Mount Dajti," while adding that Belinda Balluku deserves all the punishment for the Llogara tunnel.
"The files are as big as Mount Dajti, we have to go public. The audit cannot check Edi Rama, because he finds his Benz. He bought a new armored Benz. Do you remember when 20 years ago we bought a Benz for the delegations, because they asked for it when they came?"
Because I had never seen it with my own eyes, only when friends got in. What did he do when he came to power? He called the employee and said, "You mean Berisha used the Benz?" No, he said, "He never used it." He fired him, it turned out that the Benz was in the delegations' car park, and not mine, in the Prime Minister's.
"And now he is blocking the audit, he has bought two Benz and another car that he says the party bought for 500 thousand euros, he has a 75 m villa and billions deposited, the Llogara tunnel is his work and now he presents it as a deal with the Turkish side, not his actual theft. Belinda Balluku deserves all the punishments," said Berisha.
