Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha has responded to the leader of the SP Group, Taulant Balla , who accused him of attacking the EU Ambassador, adding that he would request action from the Ethics Commission against the former prime minister.

Berisha called it a fabrication, emphasizing that he had not insulted any foreign ambassador.

The leading democrat added that there is no one who respects diplomats more than he does, but added that he loves his country more.

Sali Berisha: I reject with contempt the invention of the speaker because in my speech I did not insult any foreign ambassador, but I asked his Excellency to present to the Albanians which European directive speaks of multiple gender affiliation, of gender with wide diversity. There is no one who respects ambassadors more than I do, but I love my country more.
