Rama: We are on the right track to close negotiations in 2027

Prime Minister Edi Rama, at a joint press conference with the EU Ambassador to our country, Silvio Gonzato, stated that the European Commission's report states that "Albania is on the right track to technically conclude the negotiations within 2027", and this, according to him, is the most important thing.

" The report says many things, but above all it says one thing: that Albania is on the right track to technically conclude the negotiations by 2027. And, in saying this, the report has said it all. Of course, on this right track there are challenges at every step.

Challenges and issues to be addressed not only quantitatively, but also qualitatively at every step. Of course, the progress report is a glass half full. What we have always done is to take all the necessary energy from the half full, to focus with all the energy on the half empty, so that the process is concluded within 2027 , "said Rama.

" This is our ambition and I am very proud that no one now forgets to say that Albania is at the forefront of this process, together with Montenegro ," the prime minister added.
