Why did the two friends become enemies? The analyst shows some behind the scenes
Edi Rama and Albin Kurti

Edi Rama and Albin Kurti have been close friends, but there is already a cold battle between them. But what happened between them? Analyst Ilir Kulla has tried to answer this question.

Invited to the show Free Zone, Kulla showed the behind the scenes and everything started about 4-5 years ago, according to which, Rama had tried to take Vetëvendosje to Albin Kurti. The second moment, according to analyst Kulla, was the fall after 100 days in power of Albin Kurti as Prime Minister.

Ilir Kulla said that Albin Kurti and the people who support him think that Edi Rama and Hashim Thaçi are behind this event.

On the other hand, Kulla said that Prime Minister Edi Rama has not accepted the involvement of Vetëvendosje in the election campaign in Albania.

"They used to be very friendly. They are similar characters and push a lot with each other now that they are in power. But the conflict is earlier. Kurti and people close to him accuse Rama of wanting to take his party when Albini was ill. They tried to take Albin's party as if it were not Liburn Ali's group that stood firm there. They think that Rama is behind this together with Thaçi.

At that time it was the Thaçi government and his allies and Rama was close to Thaçi. This is what they think.

Then when the first Kurti government was formed, they are convinced that Rama in a large part of the Albanian state institutions were committed to overthrowing the Kurti government and this was the reason why Vetëvendosje was fierce against the former Minister of Education.

The war started because Albini thinks that Rama tried to overthrow him.

They have clashes with each other but it is also the agenda, in the beginning the change of borders now Open Balkan, that clashes them. It does not pass so easily.

They both have a personal conflict and an interstate political conflict.

"Meanwhile, Rama thinks that Kurti's involvement in politics in the campaign to overthrow Rama was something that Kurti should not have done because he is the Prime Minister of another country", said Ilir Kulla.
