Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has filed an appeal in the High Court, regarding the security measures imposed on him.
Berisha requested the lifting of the "house arrest" measure, which has isolated him at home for about 3 months, that is, since December 30 of last year.
Through the lawyers, Berisha opposes the tightening of the security measure from "mandatory appearance" and "ban on leaving the country", to "house arrest", left in force by the Special Court of the First Instance and the Appeal of the GJKKO.
The appeal was registered three days ago, on 20/03/2024, where the relator judge is expected to be Sokol Binaj, but a date and time for the review of the appeal has not yet been set.
