The Parliament approved with 95 votes in favor and 1 abstention from the socialist Erjon Braçe the establishment of the commission for the investigation of two concessions in health, sterilization and check-up.

Contrary to the request six months ago, Reestablishment has left out of the parliamentary investigation the other two health concessions of Dialysis and Laboratories, both related to the businessman of the American Hospital Klodian Allajbeu and found in violation by the High State Control.

There is no transparency and no justification from the MPs for this dubious decision, since the 4 health concessions were included in the request 6 months ago for the establishment of the investigative commission, and as an indication for the investigation, the report of the KLSH was cited on the abuses in the dialysis concession and laboratories that they cost Albanians 28 million euros per year from their taxes.

According to experts, the exclusion from the Reestablishment of these concessions caught in violation by the KLSH severely damages the integrity of opposition MPs.

"The reports of the High State Control have highlighted the serious problems in the 4 concessions, the increase in the costs of specific services, the lack of competition and the involvement of economic operators without sufficient experience. Practically, the cost of these public services transferred to private hands chosen in a clientelistic manner by the government and the Ministry of Health has increased", says Zef Preçi.

The parliamentary investigation on the sterilization concession on which the Special Court is close to giving its decision and the omission of other concessions on which no light has yet been shed creates even more doubts for the leaders of the Reestablishment.

"I hope that more than the judgment of 'dead horses', of completed concessions, with which the Court and the Special Prosecutor's Office are dealing, the opposition articulates ideas that encourage public debate. I believe that they are related services and the distinction is not that it solves any problem by dealing with only one", said Preçi./TCH
