A protest was held by residents of the village of Imshte in the Bubullimë unit in Lushnje, who oppose the construction of a photovoltaic park in the area.
According to SP MP Erion Braçe , a robbery of public land for the construction of solar panels is taking place.
But who will build in this area and who is the MP who is supporting the construction?
Elton Çekrezi , owner of EuroElektra, has purchased state-owned land and will build photovoltaic panels there.
Çekrezi has created the company " SunXpower " with which he has obtained permission to build photovoltaic panels in Imshte, Lushnja.

The genesis of the conflict began in 2024, when residents again protested against the construction, as according to them, the area is state property that is inalienable by law.
Even a year ago, Socialist MP Erion Braçe published a video, writing that a person accompanied by police was attempting to take state land.
On the other hand, Çekrezi has purchased state land.
To clarify for the residents, the Çekrezi family at the time reacted with documents to the Ditari media that "the area of ??land claimed is not state property and was not taken by the state."
The Çekrezi family stated that the land was purchased by notarial contract from a family of former owners, who acquired its ownership through a 1998 restitution and compensation decision.
For this, in their capacity as new owners, they have property documentation updated by the Cadastre as well as all the original documentation (from the sequestration decision no. 5 dated 23.07.1945 to the return decision no. 58 dated 03.11.1998), the voice writes .
Regarding the residents' objections, the businessman stated that they have occupied the entire area, including state and private land, for which they have no documentation.
In the following video, businessman Elton Çekrezi is debating with residents:
In his post, Braçe recalls that a similar attempt to acquire this land has occurred before, with political support, by a politician, whom he does not name.
The MP states that construction has been halted after the matter was referred for investigation, where he states that a "new guy", whose identity is unknown, is aiming to build photovoltaic panels in this area.
Braçe underlines that the case is in the second phase of investigative actions by the Fier Prosecutor's Office.
"The one you see in the video, who shouts at the farmers and says "enough shouting" is the new guy who will build photovoltaic panels right on this land! What is this land? It is an area of ??land from the edge of the Seman River to the embankment. This is what the farmers are sitting on. Two weeks ago, this guy was in Imshte without the police, but with criminals who did their best to show off their weapons; they threatened the residents and mentioned the lives of children. Is there a greater shame than the State Police today defending a robbery in broad daylight when the law is very clear?! This is repeated! A year and a half ago, with the support of a politician, the same guy again had the police with him until the day the politician fell from his chair," the deputy denounces.
While in 2024 the conflict ceased and there was no construction of the panels, it remains to be seen what will happen in the coming days.
