Rama gathers the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Belinda Balluku also present

Before leaving for Brussels, Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding a meeting with the parliamentary group.

This meeting was also joined by Belinda Balluku, who is now suspended from the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and currently only enjoys the status of MP.

After the Constitutional Court judges' statement, the next step is for the Mandates Committee to meet to review the request of SPAK, which is seeking the lifting of the MP's immunity with the aim of arresting her.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama will depart for Brussels at around 2:00 PM where he will meet with European Council President Antonio Costa. The focus of the talks will be negotiations for Albania's EU membership.
