Berisha: Rama is undoing the EU integration process, Albania does not meet any conditions

DP leader Sali Berisha said at a media conference that Prime Minister Edi Rama only has imaginary successes.

Berisha stated that Albania does not meet any conditions for EU integration.

"Rama is heading towards a deserved end. He is also undoing the process of Albania's European integration. Albania does not meet any conditions for EU integration. Rama has only imaginary successes. Tirana only meets the geo-strategic condition. By saying this, I guarantee the European partners that the Democratic Party prioritizes the country's integration into the EU, but not in a deceptive way, but everything on merit and performance. The DP has done more than any other party in the country's integration towards the European Union. It was the Democratic Party that reached the Stabilization and Association Agreement. We liberalized visas. When we met the EU's requirements, we did not beg anyone, but everything was very serious. Albania today is a country where human rights are massively violated. Rama complains today that the prisons are full. But, Rama filled the prisons, who left Albanians without the right to a judicial process. Rama will trample on the interests of Albanians in Brussels, he will protect his interests. Tomorrow is the day of citizens. I invite the citizens of Tirana and of Albania, that we are never defeated by a clique that seeks to steal the country," said Berisha.

Berisha also warned that there will be no votes for this government, which, as he said, intends to steal from the citizens.

" Rama will not have any votes. No cooperation with Ramaduro. We are partners with the citizen and not with this thieving government. Regarding the protest in Rrjoll, we are against touching the land of private owners, even one square meter of land. We do not accept that others have their land taken away," he said.

Berisha reiterated that the only way to overthrow the government is through protests and only through protests. “We have said that the only way to overthrow this government is through protests. We will not stop until we overthrow this bloody regime ,” Berisha declared.
