The Secretariat of Ethics in the Assembly has decided to suspend for 10 days from parliamentary activities two Democratic Party MPs, Gazment Bardhi and Klevis Balliu , following incidents and the language used in the last plenary session.

The decision came after the Socialist Party requested disciplinary measures against two Democratic MPs. According to the Socialists, Klevis Balliu attempted to punch the leader of the Socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, during a scuffle in the chamber during the last session.

Meanwhile, Gazment Bardhi has also been punished with a 10-day suspension after insulting Socialist Party deputies, using offensive language towards them.

Initially, Taulant Balla was involved in a debate with Democratic MP Albana Vokshi, to whom he addressed an offensive comment, saying that "she has the number 0900".

For this incident, the Democratic Party has requested the expulsion of Taulant Balla from Parliament for 60 days.
